WASHINGTON, May 18 -- Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., has introduced legislation (S. 2865) to "ensure that certain materials used in carrying out Federal infrastructure aid programs are made in the United States."
The bill was introduced on May 16 and has six co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Tina Smith, D-Minn., Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., Christopher S. Murphy, D-Conn., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., and Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill.
