WASHINGTON, May 18 -- Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, has introduced legislation (S. 2862) to "require the Comptroller General of the United States to conduct a study regarding the buyout practices of the Federal Emergency Management Agency."
The bill was introduced on May 16 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
