WASHINGTON, May 17 -- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., has introduced legislation (S. 2846) to "provide for multidisciplinary teams for military installations on child abuse and other domestic violence, to require a pilot program on nurse home visits to reduce child abuse and improve safe childcare among military families."
The bill was introduced on May 15 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C. It was referred to the Senate Armed Services Committee.
