WASHINGTON, May 13 -- Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., has introduced legislation (S. 2830) to "reauthorize the rural emergency medical services training and equipment assistance program under section 330J of the Public Health Service Act."
The bill was introduced on May 10 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., and Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
