WASHINGTON, March 17 -- Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, has introduced legislation (S. 2557) to amend the Food Security Act of 1985 to improve conservation programs.
The bill was introduced on March 15 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Robert Casey Jr., D-Pa. It was referred to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee.
