WASHINGTON, March 17 -- Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., has introduced legislation (S. 2556) to "direct the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration to promulgate regulations to prohibit the storage of live animals in overhead compartments of airplanes."
The bill was introduced on March 15 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
