WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's National Institute of Justice announced that it intends to award up to two discretionary grants for research and evaluation on gangs and gang violence.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $1 million. The agency said the grant was associated with a) law, justice and legal services and b) science and technology and other research and development.
