WASHINGTON, Feb. 17 -- Sen. Christopher Coons, D-Del., has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 407) "recognizing the critical work of human rights defenders in promoting human rights, the rule of law, democracy, and good governance."
The resolution was introduced on Feb. 15 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C. It was referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
