WASHINGTON, Feb. 17 -- Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., has introduced legislation (S. 2448) to "provide for the issuance of a rule to advance next-generation technologies to provide alternatives to hydrofluorocarbons."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 15 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Thomas R. Carper, D-Del., Bill Cassidy, R-La., Christopher Coons, D-Del., Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, and Jeff Merkley, D-Ore. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
