WASHINGTON, Feb. 17 -- Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., has introduced legislation (S. 2445) to provide for the modernization of the electric grid.
The bill was introduced on Feb. 15 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., and Mazie K. Hirono, D-Hawaii. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
