WASHINGTON, Feb. 17 -- Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., has introduced legislation (S. 2440) to "combat the opioid epidemic by reforming existing laws and providing for the public's safety."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 15. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
