WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., has introduced legislation (S. 2420) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to provide a child tax credit for pregnant moms."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 13 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, Deb Fischer, R-Neb., James Lankford, R-Okla., James M. Inhofe, R-Okla., and Roy Blunt, R-Mo. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
