Sen. Alexander Introduces Bill on NIH Cutting-Edge Research Initiatives

WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 -- Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., has introduced legislation (S. 2406) to advance cutting-edge research initiatives of the National Institutes of Health.

The bill was introduced on Feb. 8 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Patty Murray, D-Wash., Todd Young, R-Ind., and Margaret Wood Hassan, D-N.H. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
