WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the steps states are taking to implement the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act requirements on substance-affected infants. The report (GAO-18-196) is titled "Additional Guidance Would Help States Better Implement Protections for Children".

The report was sent to Sen. Robert P. Casey Jr., D-Pennsylvania, ranking member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions subcommittee on Children . . .
