WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 -- Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., has introduced legislation (S. 2316) to amend the Agricultural Act of 2014 "to make available to Native Americans who own horses for noncommercial use livestock indemnity payments and payments under the livestock forage disaster program."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 17. It was referred to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee.
