WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Science announced that it intends to award up to 20 discretionary grants for genomics-based research that will lead to the improved use of plant biomass and feedstocks for the production of biofuels and renewable chemical feedstocks.
