WASHINGTON, Jan. 12 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the U.S. Customs and Border Protection policies and procedures related to license verification for imported radiological materials. The report (GAO-18-214) is titled "Nuclear Security: CBP Needs to Take Action to Ensure Imported Radiological Material Is Properly Licensed".
The report was sent to Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Mississippi, ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee, on Jan. 10. . . .
