WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration announced that it intends to award up to 16 discretionary grants for treatment for individuals with serious mental illness, emotional disturbance or co-occurring disorders experiencing homelessness.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $10,393,000 with a ceiling of $1 million for each award in the program.
