WASHINGTON, Dec. 22 -- President Trump said today that he has enacted more legislation than any other president since Harry S Truman.
With the signing of the tax bill, President Trump has cleared 96 pieces of legislation since Jan. 20, 2017.
That figure is the lowest - not the highest - total since Richard M. Nixon was president in 1973.
The highest total since Nixon was 804 pieces of legislation during the first two years of the Jimmy Carter administ . . .
