WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 -- Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., has introduced legislation (S. 2237) to amend the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council Act of 1978 "to improve the examination of depository institutions."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 14 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
