WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 -- Sen. Angus S. King Jr., I-Maine, has introduced legislation (S. 2232) to amend the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 "to provide for the integration of distributed energy resources, to modernize electricity grid infrastructure, to provide for the consideration of non-wires alternatives."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 14. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
