WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., has introduced legislation (S. 2226) to "prohibit recipients of disaster recovery relief assistance from the Department of Housing and Urban Development from penalizing applicants that declined assistance from the Small Business Administration."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 13 and was co-sponsored by Sens. John Kennedy, R-La., and Bill Nelson, D-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
