Sen. Blumenthal Introduces Bill on Broadband Internet Access Service

WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 -- Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., has introduced legislation (S. 1950) to "require the Federal Communications Commission to submit to Congress a report on promoting broadband Internet access service for veterans."

The bill was introduced on Oct. 5 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
