WASHINGTON, Oct. 8 -- The U.S. Department of State's Public Affairs announced that it intends to award a discretionary grant for international media reporting programs.

The award ceiling for this funding opportunity is $1.5 million. The agency said the grant was associated with public diplomacy.

This funding opportunity is open to nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS.
