Cherokee Nation Graduates 110 From GED Program

TAHLEQUAH, Okla., Sept. 19 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:

The Cherokee Nation celebrated 110 GED graduates from the tribe's adult education program.

Participants who completed the program and passed the GED test were awarded diplomas at a special reception on Sept. 14 at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.
