Cherokee Nation Donating Surplus Equipment to Stilwell Police Department

TAHLEQUAH, Okla., July 12 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:

The Cherokee Nation Tribal Council authorized the donation of a dozen unused Tasers to the Stilwell Police Department to help with law enforcement safety during Monday night's monthly meeting.
