WASHINGTON, June 27 -- The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee issued the following statement by Spokesman David Bergstein:

"Make no mistake: Republicans will not stop until they force Americans to pay more for less care.

"They'll now retreat back behind closed doors to continue crafting an agenda that drives up costs on working families, spikes premiums by 20 percent next year, imposes an age tax and wipes away coverage for preexisting conditions -- all . . .
