WINDOW ROCK, Ariz., June 21 -- The Navajo Nation Council, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:

On Monday, the Health, Education, and Human Services Committee considered Legislation No. 0209-17, to accept an internal audit of the Navajo Nation Veterans Administration's Veterans Housing Program and approving a corrective action plan, to address audit deficiencies. The NNVA is under the Office of the President and Vice President.
