WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- Sen. Tom Udall, D-N.M., has introduced legislation (S. 2146) to "extend the full Federal medical assistance percentage to urban Indian organizations."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 16 and has seven co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Jon Tester, D-Mont., Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Kamala D. Harris, D-Calif., Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., and Edward J. Markey, D-Mass.
