WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- Sen. Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., has introduced legislation (S. 2137) to amend the Rural Development Act of 1972 "to improve access to grants for evidence-based substance use disorder treatment services in rural areas."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 16 and was co-sponsored by Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D. It was referred to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee.
