WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., has introduced legislation (S. 2136) to "expand the monthly payments that may be eligible for public service loan forgiveness."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 16 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
