WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 2135) to "enforce current law regarding the National Instant Criminal Background Check System."

The bill was introduced on Nov. 15 and has seven co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Christopher S. Murphy, D-Conn., Tim Scott, R-S.C., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Orrin G. Hatch, R-Utah, Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., Dean Heller, R-Nev., and Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H.
