WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., has introduced legislation (S. 2134) to "require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish processes to ensure that non-Department of Veterans Affairs health care providers are using safe practices in prescribing opioids to veterans under the laws administered by the Secretary."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 15 and has six co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., Jerry Moran, R-Kan., Richard Blu . . .
