WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., has introduced legislation (S. 2131) to amend title 38, U.S. Code, "to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to furnish medically necessary transportation for newborn children of certain women veterans."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 15 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
