WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Sen. Orrin G. Hatch, R-Utah, has introduced legislation (S. 2128) to improve the coordination and use of geospatial data.
The bill was introduced on Nov. 15 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Mark R. Warner, D-Va., Dean Heller, R-Nev., Ron Wyden, D-Ore., John Boozman, R-Ark., and Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
