WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., has introduced legislation (S. 2126) to amend the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 "to provide a temporary exemption for low-revenue issuers from certain auditor attestation requirements."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 15 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
