WASHINGTON, Nov. 20 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation announced that it intends to award a $1,145,839 grant to the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation for the operation and maintenance of Lake Cascade State Park.
The agency description of the grant states: "Cascade Dam was built by the Bureau of Reclamation in 1948. Lake Cascade (reservoir), which is formed by Cascade Dam, is part of Reclamation's Boise Project which is managed by the Snake River . . .
