WASHINGTON, Nov. 20 -- The U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it expects to award up to six cooperative agreements for the Research to Operations Initiative to expand and accelerate critical weather forecasting research to operations to address growing service demands and increase the accuracy of weather forecasts.
