WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the extent to which faith-based grantees have sought Religious Freedom Restoration Act exemptions from statutory restrictions on religious-based hiring. The report (GAO-18-164) is titled "Faith-Based Grantees: Few Have Sought Exemptions from Nondiscrimination Laws Related to Religious-Based Hiring".
The report was sent to Rep. Robert C. Scott, D-Va., ranking member of the House Education and the Work . . .
