WASHINGTON, Oct. 17 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the nutrient credit trading programs. The report (GAO-18-84) is titled "Water Pollution: Some States Have Trading Programs to Help Address Nutrient Pollution, but Use Has Been Limited".
The report was sent to Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., on Oct. 16. Here are excerpts of summaries associated with the report.
