WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 -- Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., has introduced legislation (S. 1938) to "establish a policy framework that offers and rewards work, strengthens the incentive to work, greatly reduces poverty, and creates new jobs in the United States."
The bill was introduced on Oct. 5 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
