WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- The National Science Foundation announced that it intends to award up to eight discretionary grants for the Partnerships for Research and Education in Materials Research Program to increase recruitment, retention and degree attainment by members of those groups most underrepresented in materials research.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $3 million with a ceiling of $700,000 for each award in the program. The agency said the grant . . .
