WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- The U.S. Agency for International Development in Afghanistan announced that it expects to award a cooperative agreement for conflict mitigation assistance for civilian Afghan families and communities suffering losses from military operations against the Taliban and other insurgent groups.
