WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 -- Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., has introduced legislation (S. 1848) to amend the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 "to modify the criteria for determining whether countries are meeting the minimum standards for the elimination of human trafficking."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 19. It was referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
