WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 -- Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., has introduced the Lead-Safe Housing for Kids Act (S. 1845) to amend the Lead-Based Paint Poisoning Prevention Act "to provide for additional procedures for families with children under the age of 6."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 19 and has six co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Tim Scott, R-S.C., Robert Menendez, D-N.J., Todd Young, R-Ind., Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., and Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill.
