WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 -- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., has introduced legislation (S. 1843) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to deny a deduction for excessive compensation of any employee of an employer."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 19 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
