WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 -- Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., has introduced legislation (S. 1834) to amend title XXVIII of the Public Health Service Act "to establish a National Advisory Committee on Seniors and Disasters."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 19 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Robert Casey Jr., D-Pa., and Susan M. Collins, R-Maine. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
