WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 -- Sen. Tom Udall, D-N.M., has introduced legislation (S. 1833) to modify requirements applicable to locatable minerals on public domain land.
The bill was introduced on Sept. 19 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., Michael Bennet, D-Colo., Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and Edward J. Markey, D-Mass. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
