WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced that it intends to award a $906,186 grant to The Nature Conservancy of Arlington, Va., for Bailey's Harbor coastal forest preservation in Door County, Wis.
The agency description of the grant states: "The goal of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) is to target the most significant environmental problems in the Great Lakes ecosystem by funding and implementing projects . . .
