WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- Sen. Orrin G. Hatch, R-Utah, has introduced legislation (S. 1827) to extend funding for the Children's Health Insurance Program.
The bill was introduced on Sept. 18 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., Robert Casey Jr., D-Pa., and Robert Menendez, D-N.J. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
